My clinical work is focused on the inpatient care of cancer patients, and I attend on the general medicine wards.
I have a strong interest in patient safety and quality, and lead efforts to improve care. My research is focused on improving communication and teamwork among inpatient cancer care professionals, evolving care of hospitalized cancer patients by hospitalists, and evaluating and reducing unnecessary blood transfusions among cancer patients.
